Here We Grow!

We’ve recently expanded the Santa Claus Christmas Store! The construction phase is finished and all that’s left is to move a few displays into place.

The store has just about tripled in size! We have a new area to display trees, a new Santa’s Ornament Shop retail location, a special Willow Tree section, etc.

Santa hasn’t left the building …

Santa Claus is still available for photos with Santa at the Santa Claus Christmas Store.

No doubt that he is a busy man. What with getting the list ready and overseeing the elves and the toy making. But operations at the North Pole are running smoothly, the elves are working hard and so that gives Santa time to be here in Santa Claus, Indiana.

During the month of October, Santa will be at the store on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am – 6:00pm Central Time. So stop in before the busy Christmas season and have your picture taken with Santa.

And a little hint … photos with Santa make a great family Christmas card.

Make Room for the Yule Mule!

In honor of National Holiday Decorating Day, Ulta-Lit Technologies is taking their truck, called the Yule Mule, and traveling the country to fix people’s Christmas lights for free! Gosh, nothing is free these days.

The Yule Mule will be parked outside the Santa Claus Christmas Store during the Christmas Eve in July event this Sunday, July 24, from 10:00am – 3:00pm CDT.

Bring your miniature indoor and outdoor light sets, pre-lit trees and any holiday lighted decor that uses miniature lights. Ulta-Lit Technologies will use the LightKeeper Pro to test and fix any failing Christmas lights.

Christmas Store Job Fair

The Santa Claus Christmas Store is hosting a Job Fair on Saturday, February 5, 2011, in the upper level of the Santa Claus American Legion. The job fair will take place between 9:00 a.m. and Noon CST.

Those interested in seasonal work this summer are invited to attend anytime during this 3-hour period and fill out an application. You may speak with representatives about each department and ask any questions. The legion is located on Highway 245 in Santa Claus.

Seasonal positions available in the following areas:

• Retail Associates
• Ornament Personalizers
• Shipping/Receiving

If you aren’t able to attend the job fair it’s okay. Applications are available at the Santa Claus Christmas Store during regular business hours. A downloadable application is also available on the Employment page of the Lake Rudolph website.

Just make sure that you have the completed applications back to us by March 11, 2011.
